The Challenge
The client, a Vancouver-based architect, was designing his own family home with a focus on connecting interior spaces with the surrounding Pacific Northwest landscape. The project demanded materials that were not only aesthetically refined but also environmentally responsible — meeting Canada's strict indoor air quality standards.
The challenge was finding a supplier who could deliver large-format thermal sliding doors for panoramic views, custom wood veneer cabinetry with genuine timber grain, and quartz countertops — all with E0-grade eco certification and full CARB Phase 2 documentation.
